Where to find sanitary pads in Sierra Leone
Choithrams is the familiar supermarket name here, with branches in central Freetown and in Kenema, and these are sensible places to look for disposable pads. For market shopping in Freetown, Big Market on Wallace Johnson Street and the newer Sewa Grounds Market in the city centre are both easy to reach. In Bo and Makeni we have not confirmed a shop to name.

Reusable pads in Sierra Leone: your questions
Can I order to Bo or Kenema, or only Freetown?
You can order to Bo, Kenema or Freetown. Give us your town and a street or landmark when you ask for a quote. You will see the shipping cost before paying, and the pads take 2 to 4 weeks to arrive from Nigeria.
Are Sana's pads available at Choithrams?
No, they are not. Sana has no shop or seller in Sierra Leone, and Choithrams and the Freetown markets are listed here only because many people buy disposable pads at such places. Washable Sana pads come only by direct order, on WhatsApp or through our website.
